We have received a letter from underground Christians in North Korea thanking them for the medicine they have received with support from the donors of the Danish European Mission.
The letter begins as follows: “I send this greeting on behalf of all North Korean underground Christians. May God bless you with the presence of Jesus Christ, who is our Emmanuel. Thanks to your warm hands, we have been able to endure the cold winter (…)."
"We have probably received xxx number of packages of medicine, and they have been distributed in xxx…”(Information about number and geography has been omitted for security reasons, red.)”
"North Koreans, who struggle with economic difficulties, find that the prices of medicine are a burden, so they have no choice but to be ill without the necessary treatment. The North Koreans who are relatively well-off can heat their homes, buy medicine, and receive treatment.”
"But we, who have received grace to help in the right time from God the Father, through your support with medicine, have been able to receive treatment and overcome the winter flu.“
The letter thus ends: “Many thanks for the love and kindness you have shown by supporting the underground church in North Korea."
