Russian military has imprisoned Ukrainian priest

Dmitry and Helen Budyu serve in the city of Melitopol, Ukraine. The Danish European Mission contact person has contact with him. The couple was arrested by the Russian military. Fortunately, she was later released, but not him. We are unsure why they wanted to arrest him. Please pray that he will be released and be safe.

Russian soldiers have informed the church that Dmitry was detained for questioning and will be released within a few days. They also asked for a sleeping bag and a Ukrainian Bible, which must be a request from Dmitry. Please pray with us until he is released. Since the soldiers came back to get a sleeping bag and a Bible, it's unlikely that they have intentions to harm or kidnap him.

Thank you for your prayers.
