Christian couple pressured to renounce their faith during Ramadan

The Danish European Mission's project manager in Central Asia has just sent this message from a persecuted Christian who wants prayer:

"Dear Friends

Praise God. So far, so good. I was invited to a village council yesterday. There were about 20 men present. They demanded that my wife and I give up our faith in Christ. They said: "You are a good and kind man, but our religion does not allow us to have a relationship with you because of your faith in Christ. And if you die, we refuse to bury you in our cemetery."

Nevertheless, it was an excellent opportunity for us to tell them about Jesus, that He is the only way to God, the only judge and that I have found the truth only in Him.

I was given a month to change my mind and accept Islam.

Pray for these men and their families. Pray for the seeds of truth to take root.

Remember us in your prayers, especially during Ramadan."

This is how the message ends. Thank you so much for praying for this Christian man and his wife. Especially in rural areas, Christians are under pressure in this country.
