Krice is also an opportunity for the church to show love and care to those in neede. The church can practically demonstrate God's love and hope in faith in him - in the middle of the pandemic.

Especially in small village communities the skepticism against Christians. This resistance can be expressed through discrimination and harassment against pastors - and in some cases, attacks on churches. But when villagers see Christians reaching out to the most vulnerablethe reluctance can be broken down. Bridges can be built from the church to the community. 

One of those who has felt Christians' Care, is Achmed Salim. He is from Kotikawatta, is from the country's Muslim minority and works as a bricklayer's assistant. Due to the covid-19 and The shutdownhe has lost his source of income. In addition, two of his family members are sick with cancer and he is the sole breadwinner. He was incredibly happy and encouraged when in front of collaborators visited him and handed out dry goods.

Roshini lives inGalle, a coastal area in Sri Lanka's Southern Province. Her husband struggles with afterrkotikaaddiction. As a result, the family is in very serious financial trouble with very small income. She has two children. Due to the crisis, her husband, a day laborer and sole breadwinner for the family, has no income. When she received the aid package, she told Roshinihow incredibly difficult it had been for her to find a way to provide for her children. She expressed her great gratitude for the help she has received during this difficult time.

Our partner, Evangelical Alliance in Sri Lanka, has in the firste lap asked about help with 1000 emergency aid packageswhich will be able to feed around 4000 people.The emergency aid packages consists of dry food, Coxswain 123 kronerper piece and can give Food for eA vulnerable family in Sri Lanka for around 2-3 weeks.
