The lecture focuses on the situation in Iraq, where several villages have now been liberated from Islamic State and displaced people, including Christians and other minorities, want to return to their homeland. In several villages, schools, homes, public buildings and roads are often damaged or destroyed as a result of the Islamic State's previous occupation.

In his lecture, project manager Johannes Schwab will enrich us with his vast professional and current knowledge of the situation in Iraq. He will paint a picture of how the local Christian relief and development workers are leading the way in helping the displaced rebuild their destroyed cities, create jobs and build a normal everyday life. Johannes is involved in the day-to-day management of the projects in Iraq and Syria supported by the Danish European Mission's donors. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask Johannes questions during the day.

The program for the day looks like this:

12:00 - 12:45 Free lunch for all registrants
12:45 - 15:00 Lecture by guest speaker and project manager Johannes Schwab.
15.00 - 15.30 Free coffee, tea and cake
