Write to a persecuted Christian

Christians who are persecuted can easily feel alone. They need to feel that they are not forgotten. You can encourage them with a letter.

“The Gospel is worth dying for because it is the “The Gospel is worth dying for because it is the only thing that gives eternal life.” Charley Stephansen, pastor at Vestermarkskirken in Grindsted, reflects on “Suffering as a Catalyst.” He shares that persecuted Christians rarely pray for the persecution to end. Instead, they pray for strength to stand firm and for boldness to share the Gospel. Let’s pray for them and for each other so we can experience strength and boldness✨
The Disorder as a Catalyst in the Western World Suffering as a CatalystIn the Western world, persecution is often seen as an obstacle to church growth – but biblically, it's the opposite. Persecuted Christians rarely pray for the persecution to cease. Instead, they pray for strength to stand firm and for boldness to share the gospel amidst opposition. This is something Charley Stephansen, a pastor at Vestermarkskirken in Grindsted, reflects on. He writes, “Their testimony is an important voice to us in our safe environments: the gospel is worth dying for, because it is the only thing that gives eternal life.”🌱
"There are many situations where megaphones do not work ""There are many situations where megaphones don’t work, but you can plant some seeds that will sprout"🌱 Nathalia Feinberg, Danmark’s ambassador for freedom of belief and religion, says this in an interview with Dansk Europamission. She talks about the importance of listening and understanding in order to move things in a certain direction. She explains that this can happen during informal conversations.
Danmark's New Ambassador for Freedom of Belief and Religion Danmark’s New Ambassador for Freedom of Belief and Religion: ”Persecuted Christians and religious freedom are a common thread running through my work.” Nathalia Feinberg has over 30 years of experience in the foreign service, where she has served, among other roles, as Danmark’s ambassador to Kabul and Uganda. She explains how dialogue, international cooperation, and local initiatives can reduce religious tensions and foster greater respect for the individual’s right to believe. The situation of Christian converts remains part of the dialogue with relevant countries, and cooperation between civil society and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can make a tangible difference in cases of persecution—such as that of Dia Balao.“”There are many situations where megaphones don’t work, but you can plant seeds that will sprout.”

Many Iranians are becoming Christian. The Dutch opinion. Many Iranians Are Becoming Christians In 2020, the Dutch polling firm Gamaan conducted a quantitative survey of Iranians’ attitudes toward religion. The poll indicates that 1.51% of the population identifies as Christian, which corresponds to approximately 1.2 million people. That figure is far higher than the latest official figure of 117,500 people, which includes only Christian ethnic minorities such as Assyrians and Armenians. The figures thus indicate that members of the Persian majority population are converting to the Christian faith in large numbers. Through the Danish European Mission, Danes are contributing to church growth. Between 2011 and 2025, 233,211 copies of the New Testament were printed, smuggled into, and distributed in Iran, as well as brought into neighboring countries where Iranians reside. In addition, 50 prisoners of conscience and their families have received assistance to cover their expenses for food, medical care, rent, legal advice, and more. Therefore, we would like to thank you for your support and interest. It makes a huge difference.
