Write to a persecuted Christian

Christians who are persecuted can easily feel alone. They need to feel that they are not forgotten. You can encourage them with a letter.

"There are many situations where megaphones do not work ""There are many situations where megaphones don’t work, but you can plant some seeds that will sprout"🌱 Nathalia Feinberg, Danmark’s ambassador for freedom of belief and religion, says this in an interview with Dansk Europamission. She talks about the importance of listening and understanding in order to move things in a certain direction. She explains that this can happen during informal conversations.
Danmark's New Ambassador for Freedom of Belief and Religion Danmark’s New Ambassador for Freedom of Belief and Religion: ”Persecuted Christians and religious freedom are a common thread running through my work.” Nathalia Feinberg has over 30 years of experience in the foreign service, where she has served, among other roles, as Danmark’s ambassador to Kabul and Uganda. She explains how dialogue, international cooperation, and local initiatives can reduce religious tensions and foster greater respect for the individual’s right to believe. The situation of Christian converts remains part of the dialogue with relevant countries, and cooperation between civil society and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can make a tangible difference in cases of persecution—such as that of Dia Balao.“”There are many situations where megaphones don’t work, but you can plant seeds that will sprout.”

Many Iranians are becoming Christian. The Dutch opinion. Many Iranians Are Becoming Christians In 2020, the Dutch polling firm Gamaan conducted a quantitative survey of Iranians’ attitudes toward religion. The poll indicates that 1.51% of the population identifies as Christian, which corresponds to approximately 1.2 million people. That figure is far higher than the latest official figure of 117,500 people, which includes only Christian ethnic minorities such as Assyrians and Armenians. The figures thus indicate that members of the Persian majority population are converting to the Christian faith in large numbers. Through the Danish European Mission, Danes are contributing to church growth. Between 2011 and 2025, 233,211 copies of the New Testament were printed, smuggled into, and distributed in Iran, as well as brought into neighboring countries where Iranians reside. In addition, 50 prisoners of conscience and their families have received assistance to cover their expenses for food, medical care, rent, legal advice, and more. Therefore, we would like to thank you for your support and interest. It makes a huge difference.
”As we praised and began to pray, the atmosphere changed ”When we sang praises and began to pray, the atmosphere changed.” Recently, a family group met to pray and sing praises. They had invited their non-Christian family members to join them. Darya had often talked to her immediate family about Jesus, but they had always been dismissive. One evening, however, she felt she should invite them over for dinner, worship, and prayer. Although they laughed at first, the atmosphere in the room changed when the worship began. Together, they all prayed for families in Iran who are suffering these days—we hope you will do the same. #Jesus #Iran #Intercession #persecuted #Christians #persecutedChristians #prayer #God #fellowship
”Your words are a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. ”Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path” – Psalm 119:105 ”A second-grade schoolboy in North Korea watched his parents read a passage from the Bible every night and then hide it under a floor tile, because it is forbidden to own a Bible in North Korea. One day there was a theme day at school, and the theme was ’what really matters.’ The little boy had seen how important the Bible was to his parents, and on the sly he had fished the Bible out from under the floor and taken it with him to school. When the boy came home from school, his parents were gone—taken away by the police. Unlike other Christian parents in North Korea, they had not hidden their faith from their child, precisely to prevent their child from exposing them at school.Anders Graversen, pastor at Kingos Church and chairman of the Danish European Mission, reflects here on Psalm 119:105 and continues: ”Meeting with persecuted Christians has time and again shown me a joy, trust, and zeal for God’s true and saving Word of the Bible.”#persecutedChristians #church #Bible #Psalm
