Iranian mullah had a dream on his deathbed - and became a Christian

Hussein and his family were very strict Muslims. When the family heard that the mullah's nephew Ali and his wife Fatimeh had become Christians, they publicly condemned them as "impure". It seemed as if this mullah would never hear the gospel, let alone repent and be saved.

Image: In the midst of Shiite Iran, whose ideology is Islam, more and more people are meeting Jesus. The most conservative estimate is that at least 370,000 have converted to the Christian faith. Pray for them.

God spoke to Fatimeh in a dream

One night, however, Fatimeh dreamt that she had to tell the mullah that Jesus is God. When she woke up that morning, she felt nervous. It could be very dangerous. The mullah could have her arrested for proselytizing, which is a serious crime in Iran.

Fatimeh called an experienced Christian. He encouraged her to obey the dream and reassured her that she would be enveloped in prayer.

God had also spoken to Hussein in a dream

Fatimeh left. When she rang the doorbell, Hussein's family asked her to leave. They didn't want an impure apostate in their house, but when the mullah heard who had rung the doorbell, he strangely wanted to see her. Fatimeh entered the house, took off her shoes and was led to the mullah's study.

There she sat down on the floor, looked the mullah in the eye and asked: "Do you know that Jesus is God?" The mullah's answer astonished Fatimeh. He replied: "Yes, I believe that Jesus is God... let me tell you why. Last night I dreamt that you - and it was definitely you - had a message for me. And in my dream I was told to believe what you said." [Quote]

Fatimeh was grateful for the Holy Spirit's guidance. She shared the Gospel with Hussein and then led him in a prayer of repentance. Soon after, Hussein died in faith in Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who financially ensures that Bibles can be smuggled into Iran. Millions of Iranians like Hussein need to hear about salvation in Jesus, forgiveness of sin and that we can have eternal life in heaven through faith in Him. The hearts of Iranians are wide open at this time - now is the time to send Bibles to Iran.

It costs 80 DKK to print, publish and distribute Bibles to Iran. The Bibles are printed and bound in the highest quality, which in Middle Eastern culture is an expression of respect for a book's message.
