Farshid received official notification on July 4, 2015.

This is very positive news that has encouraged Farshid and his family. We join them in praising God for this development and for those who have made it possible.

Thank you to everyone who has written encouraging letters to Farshid and prayed for him. We ask for your continued prayers for Farshid in his final months in prison in Rajai Shahr, Iran.

Farshid was imprisoned at Christmas 2010 and was initially sentenced to six years in prison, with an additional year added despite being a model prisoner.

He was in Evin prison in Tehran until August 2014 and was then transferred to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, about 60 km northwest of Tehran. This prison is even more notorious than Evin prison because it's where the really serious criminals are held.

Farshid has sent greetings from prison several times, greetings that have edified many!
