Their bodies were found on February 24 on a beach near Benghazi. The men had been shot in the head, making the killings look like an execution. They had been abducted from their home by armed men. These gunmen had gone door-to-door in an apartment complex in search of residents who were Christians.

The Christians in Libya want us to pray that:

  1. The families of the murdered must experience the peace, presence and comfort of Jesus.
  2. Egyptian Christians living in the Benghazi area need to feel the guiding wisdom of the Holy Spirit and the loving protection of the Father.
  3. The same for other Christians in the area and throughout Libya.
  4. A rule of law that considers everyone equally must be established throughout Libya.
  5. Murderers must experience the Holy Spirit's conviction of their sin, that they must seek the Father's forgiveness and new life through the death and resurrection of the Son.
