At around 6:15 pm on November 20, a group of 15 people led by a Buddhist monk forced their way into the area where a group of Christian men, women and children were celebrating worship. They attacked the pastor, some staff and members of the congregation and humiliated them by pouring cow dung on them. They also smashed furniture and other fixtures. The Buddhist monk threatened the pastor and the congregation with death and arson if they did not stop meeting for worship.
