Noreen is 17 years old and has two blind sisters and a brother. Her father is a drug addict and her mother died three years ago. Noreen works for a Muslim family as she is responsible for her brother and blind sisters.
Since her sisters are blind and her brother is too young to help, she works alone in different homes. One day some boys bothered her and tried to rape her, but she managed to escape and the next time she was very careful. Because of her situation and for the sake of her blind sisters and younger brother, she had to work, and she decided to work because if she stopped working, how would they survive? So, for the sake of her family, she started working again in different homes, but little did she know that this time she would have to endure a lot of pain and persecution. She fell victim to one of the heads of the house. He raped her and accused her of stealing money from his wallet while he went outside for a moment. She cried and begged for her life: "I didn't do it", but she told us that he nevertheless raped her and beat her badly. No one heard her screams....because her screams were silent!!!
She wants to give her little brother and blind sisters good food, an education and a better future, but it's not easy. When Noreen was caught by this brutal man (who was the second highest ranking in the Muslim family) and he raped her, she wanted to die, but when she saw the faces of her brother and sisters, she decided not to commit suicide but to live for them and to fulfill their needs for food, clothes, education etc. etc.
She doesn't want to work anymore, but she wants to attend one of the Danish European Mission's sewing schools where she can feel safe. Once she finishes school, she can earn enough money to pay for her blind sisters' necessities and send her little brother to school.
For all these reasons, we ask for your kindness and participation. We ask for prayers for this girl so that we can help her get into sewing school. Please give Noreen and other girls like her the opportunity to go to sewing school now:
