Police and Christians avert conflict in Pakistan

In Pakistan, after Muslim arson attacks in August with at least seven people killed in Punjab province, a new conflict was attempted 04.09.09 by placing pages from the Koran in the Presbyterian Reformed Church and on the road.

According to the police, it was to create conflict between the Christian mission station and the Muslim village of Maliks. Timely intervention by the Christian leaders and police prevented further incidents so far.
