Local Ukrainian Christians are making an invaluable difference to those in need in Ukraine. One of the recipients of the aid is Valentina.

From our project partner, we have received a number of testimonies about the difference the aid makes. One of them is from Valentina, who is 62 years old. She is a mother of seven children. One of her children died due to alcohol abuse. One daughter is bedridden at home, and Valentina says with sadness that she may not have many days left on this earth. Some time ago, the family's apartment was taken away from them because they had debts they couldn't pay. Now they live in a tiny house in a remote village. Her other children live in different parts of Ukraine.

When the volunteers opened the food package to show Valentina what they brought, she immediately took the New Testament in her hands and said: "Oh, it's so wonderful that there is not only food for the body!"

She really has no one to help her. When volunteers in our project heard about Valentina and her needs, they gave her a food package, which she was very happy about.

"We are going through a tough time where our hope can only be in God and people who care for others. Thank you I have."
