Nima is a six-year-old boy in Iran. His family came to Christ in 2020. This spring, Nima was thrilled to receive a colorfully illustrated children's Bible as a gift.
When his grandfather, Arvin, came to visit, Nima quickly picked up his new Bible and placed it in his lap. Nima eagerly began to show him the story of Jesus and told him about the savior who had risen from the dead to save the world. The grandfather sat and listened to Nima.
With simple childlike faith and in simple language, Nima explained the Gospel and described the hope it gives to all who believe. It wasn't long before Arvin began attending Bible studies with Nima's family to learn more about Jesus. And a few months ago, Arvin gave his life to Christ.
We rejoice with Nima's family over Arvin's conversion. This story is just one example of how the Gospel is being shared within families throughout the Iran region. Getting Bible portions into the hands of Persian speakers is a crucial part of evangelization.
