It was an very exciting trip where the objectivest was to meetTalk to. and learn from the persecuted Christians in the countries. Back home again I am left with an experience of joy, anticipation and is Full of impressions. The joy of new friendships and meeting brothers and sisters in Christ and the expectation of God doing great things through the Christians in Central Asia.
Bags of hope

One of the first stops on the tour was in Kazakhstan in a project, where Donors of the Danish European Mission contributes to the fact that local Christians can hand out bags with basic food items and clothing to poor families in the local community. It was crazy to experience, how to the people behind the awards spend so much of their time to help as many people as possible. It was very clear, that the driving force behind the work was love for the city and their fellow human beings. They just wanted to show the love of Jesus and thereby share the gospel with more people, who hasn't heard the joynoble message. The visit was very encouraging and clarified, what importance devotion and charity have into the relationship with even Next.
Great gratitude among recipients
One of the recipients was a woman who lived in a dense shrubbery under a tin roof. All summer long, she collected rainwater in small bottles to have water for the winter. Her husband had been killed several years earlier, and she had been left in poverty. The leaders from the project were met with af hugs and blind smile from the old lady. She was very grateful to get food and clothing of the Christians.
The Oak House
We then traveled to Kyrgyzstan to visit the Oak House, which Danish European Mission donors have supported since 2011. A transition house for young girls, who grew up in an orphanage. Manfred and I were invited for pizza in the evening and it was amazing to feel the hospitality in the house. The girls At home, of Employees and the volunteers Narrated. about their life and their encounter with Jesus. Fseveral had experienced violence and exclusion from family, friends or colleagues after their convertedring to the Christian faith. Several of the girls had come to know Jesus as their savior in the Oak House and toldHow. It was like having a new family, as of came to the Oak House.
I thank God every morning for this place and that I can live here. - girl at Egehuset
Many of the girls have no family to stay with after the orphanage, but atTo the Oak House sheep the girls and safe place to live, peace of mind to get an education and get ready for adult life.
The magnificent Silk Road
The journey ended in magnificent Uzbekistan. Many of the cities in Uzbekistan are characterized by The Silk Road, and several of the cities emerged as trading towns during the dits heyday. Especially the old town of Bukhara is experienced as A journey through time back in time, where you can experience the many well-preserved and magnificent buildings and walk through the streets and experience many Scents and impressions. We also got to experience the stunning mountains of Uzbekistan and Nature outside the cities.
Visiting the church
We met Dansk Europamission partnerswhich helps some of society's mostst exposedbut whose work we unfortunately cannot mention publicly. OOn Sundays we were For the fall service in a local churchSeveral had prepared thank you speeches and the children performed a dance. We were very well received in the church. Members of the congregation had a strong focus on building relationships with their fellow human beings and boldly invited more people into the church.
Trust in God
Along the journey, it has become clear to me, how important this work is, being done in the countries, is. It is of great importance to many peoples Future and life, that they meet the local Christians Help and love. Christians trust in God and sacrificer time and money, even though there is social pressure on them og strict legislation makes work difficult. Thank you to everyone who prays for Christians in Central Asia.
