The people of Aleppo are in desperate need of emergency aid. There is famine in some places and signs of malnutrition and malnutrition in some children.
In the middle of the shattered city stands the civilian population - many are poor people who have not had the money to flee to more peaceful parts of Syria or abroad.
Fortunately, there are also relief teams in the city, made up of Christians who feel a calling to stay and help the local population at a time like this. Christians who through their practical help and care give hope and encouragement to those in need amidst the brutality, darkness and chaos of war.
Let me tell you about the woman Fatima. Together with her family, she fled Dera in southern Syria at the beginning of the war and came to Aleppo.

Her husband Ahmed found work in Aleppo as a blacksmith, but was killed by a bomb on his way home. Then his wife Fatima came to our partner for help: "I have four children and no income now that my husband is dead."
Women like Fatima would probably not be able to survive without emergency aid. Our relief team is feeding 2000 families, which equates to around 9000 people. Around 40% of the beneficiaries are Christian, while 60% are from other backgrounds.
More than ever before, those in need in Syria depend on our help. Will you lend a helping hand to those in need in Aleppo and the rest of Syria?
You can put clothes on people's bodies and ensure hungry stomachs are fed.
On average, it costs around 150 DKK to provide a refugee family with water, food, kitchenware, hygiene items, clothing and medicine for a week.
You can stand with Christian relief teams and empower them to help people in dire need. You can help relief workers be a testimony of God's love and bring hope to people in desperate need.
