The widow had nothing to feed her children and asked for help everywhere. But she was constantly rejected and was now desperate.
Then people pointed her in the direction of the church and said: "The only place you can get help is from the Christians". So she met with our church partner and relief team. When she saw the love of these Christians and how we help the families who need it most without asking their background, she was very touched and affected by our help.
She asked if she could also visit the church and attend the meetings there. She liked it and subsequently brought all her children to the church because she wanted them to be blessed in Jesus' name. Even though she was not a Christian, she felt the presence of God here in the church. She said to our partner, the pastor: "Thank you so much for all your help and your love for us. Without your help, my family and I would not have survived."
