A whole day - Saturday, July 7 - at Sarons Slettes Bible Camping is dedicated to the Danish European Mission. Various representatives from the Danish European Mission will talk about the work for persecuted Christians and mission in closed countries.
Sarons Slettes camp was first held in 1983 and is organized by Sarons Slettes Mission and Relief Center, founded by Poul and Elsie Thomsen.
For several years, the Danish European Mission has benefited from Sarons Slettes Mission and Relief Center's expertise in the distribution of emergency aid, including the relief operation for the victims of the earthquake in Bam, Iran and the tsunami off the coast of Indonesia in 2004. In addition to this cooperation on relief work, Elsie and Poul Thomsen sit on the Danish European Mission's Board of Representatives.
Poul Thomsen is a favorite speaker, including at the Danish European Mission's annual meetings, and is used by God to awaken people to step out in faith in the calling He has given them.
Among the speakers during the week of June 30 to July 7 is the founder of the Danish European Mission, Hans Kristian Neerskov.
