Andrew Brunson visits Denmark

Summer is just around the corner - and two very special guests are getting ready to visit Denmark.

This is Norine and Andrew Brunson - invited by the Danish European Mission.

After 23 years as a missionary with his family in Turkey, Andrew was arrested in 2016 and spent two years in prison. As a Christian pastor, he was caught in a political game between the US and Turkey, which the Danish media described.

Imprisonment led to a crisis of faith for Andrew. In prison, he couldn't feel God's presence, he doubted, contemplated suicide and even needed psychotropic drugs. However, his story is also warm. In prison, he still testified to his faith and prayed for the sick. The first year he was mentally broken in prison, but God rebuilt him and his testimony is soul-searching and can bring hope to people struggling with faith and life.
