We asked for help for seven sewing schools in September. But now we've managed to set up nine sewing schools in October 2011 alone.

In 2011, the Danish European Mission has been able to provide 1298 girls with access to sewing training. So far in 2011, 32 sewing schools have been established. Two of these were sponsored by foundations, while the other 30 were created with the support of Danish European Mission donors.

Since 2005, the Danish European Mission has given a total of 6,173 girls a sewing education

At the same time, the Gospel has been shared by the Christian sewing teachers and many girls have come to personal faith in Jesus Christ. The girls attending the sewing schools are in an environment where they can feel Christian charity. In other words, their lives have been radically transformed so that they can move boldly into the future.

Many of the girls have also learned to read at the sewing school. This means that they can read the Bible and cope in everyday life.

Thank you to everyone who is helping to make it possible for poor girls in Pakistan to get a sewing education. These girls are far better off in life after a year at a sewing school. So let's continue to do good.
