Support is urgently needed to provide flood victims in Pakistan with food, medicine and other essential relief.

A team of employees is ready to help those in need and provide them with the most urgent relief such as food, medicine, and clothing to help them survive the massive disaster.

Tahir Saleem, head of our partner RCCM, says that the Christians are suffering greatly. If we don't help them, the children and weak family members are in danger of dying as they lack food and medicine. Over a million animals have died due to the floods and tens of thousands of people are threatened by diseases from the contaminated water.

Riaz, his wife and children usually work in a brick factory, but recently they were hit by the heavy rains. Their few belongings were washed away and destroyed. Three of Riaz's children are seen in the picture. Their names are Amjad, Najma and Nadeem.

With the support of Danmark, the Danish European Mission's partner in the country has helped around 1,000 people like Riaz and his family in August, when we received the first flood alerts.

But now the need is so great and widespread that the team of helpers must leave as soon as possible with medicine and food and other emergency aid.
