{"id":1489,"date":"2019-12-11T14:14:37","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T13:14:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forfulgtekristne.dk\/teologisk-refleksion\/vi-deler-kaar-med-kristus\/"},"modified":"2024-08-01T14:46:10","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T12:46:10","slug":"we-share-vessels-with-christ","status":"publish","type":"teologisk-refleksion","link":"https:\/\/forfulgtekristne.dk\/en\/bibelsk-refleksion\/vi-deler-kaar-med-kristus\/","title":{"rendered":"We share a relationship with Christ\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pa<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ulus puts it this way<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">:\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But when we are children, we are also heirs, heirs of God and of Christ<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0co-heirs, as true as we read<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">there with him to also be glorified with him\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">(Rom 8:17).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With Christ, the door opens<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0there for a number of amazing benefits. We are God's children with him. This means that we are dearly loved.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e of God and inalienable to him.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We are also heirs of God with Jesus and will share in the beauty of the world to come. All this is ours because we are connected to Jesus by faith.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When we are connected to Jesus, we get the whole package. We share with him in relationship with God, and that is a privilege. But we share\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">also<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0with him in relation to the unbelieving world.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Paul says that we suffer with Jesus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This means that the dislike of Jesus that exists among people in this world, and which is<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is expressed in many ways,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">re<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ttes<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0against the children of God<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Yes, it is almost as if the aggression against Jesus Christ<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0is primarily expressed as aggression against his church on earth. When Paul was stopped by Jesus on his way to Damascus to imprison the believers there, Jesus said to him: \"Saul, Saul, why do you persecute\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">me<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">?\" He persecuted Jesus by persecuting Jesus' disciples.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">God's church shares a home with Jesus in this world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We share the privileges, but we also share the suffering. Some people don't feel it so badly, but in other places it hits hard.
