After the survey<\/span>\u00a0had been shared<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0<\/span>social media<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0nearly 40,000 Iranians responded\u00a0<\/span>the questionnaire survey. The respondents\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span><\/span>all\u00a0<\/span>over 19 years old, living in Iran<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span><\/span>is<\/span><\/span>able to use the internet and read the questions<\/span>by which r<\/span>The result of these responses according to GAMAAN\u00a0<\/span>can\u00a0<\/span>generalized to 85% of the general population<\/span>\u00a0and this\u00a0<\/span>with 95% probability.<\/span>\u00a0The 85% sample of population represented in the survey is called\u00a0<\/span>populations<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, there is a risk of self-selection, meaning that only those with a particular interest in the topic participate, and<\/span><\/span>that<\/span>\u00a0you thereby achieve a skewed<\/span>in the selection process. There are\u00a0<\/span>So...<\/span><\/span>risk of<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0mis-estimating the number of Christians, among other things. However, GAMAAN has tried to address these issues by sharing\u00a0<\/span>the questionnaire<\/span>\u00a0in versatile groups on e.g.\u00a0<\/span>F<\/span>acebook, and respondents' answers have been weighted in accordance with the population in relation to a number of demographic parameters<\/span>. You have<\/span>\u00a0thus sought to even out the imbalance<\/span>which increases the credibility of the results<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The survey of Iranians' attitudes towards religion also shows<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0that 6% of the population\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span>\u00a0converted from one<\/span>\u00a0religious<\/span>\u00a0orientation to another,\u00a0<\/span><\/a> including Christianity, among others.\u00a0<\/span>Iranians are increasingly opting out\u00a0<\/span>Shia<\/span>-Islam<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and according to the study, only 32% of the population identifies as\u00a0<\/span>Shia<\/span>-muslims<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For example, an aversion to the prohibition of consuming alcohol can be observed, as the study shows that 35% of the population\u00a0<\/span>occasional or regular drinking. Another example that supports the general criticism is Iranians' dislike of<\/span><\/span>for the law of carrying\u00a0<\/span>hijab<\/span>\u00a0i<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0public spaces. According to the survey, around 72% of the population is against this injunction.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
