Farshid writes:<\/p>\n

\"In our lives there are nights: lonely nights, nights of nightmares, nights of fever and pain, endless nights in prison, nights of longing, nights of breathlessness, and some terrible, inexplicable nights... For those who live in this world, these nights are inevitable, even for those who walk close to Christ.<\/em><\/p>\n

When a child has a bad night, the child's father or mother lies close to them through the night and tenderly strokes their face, kisses their cheeks again and again, says the child's name in the most loving voice and keeps looking at their face until the bad night is over.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Then the child opens his eyes and thinks that his father has just arrived! The child couldn't feel his father's breath as he struggled with his nightmares. Similarly, when the bad nights of our lives end, we may open our eyes and think that our Heavenly Father has just arrived. But in reality, He was not only there in the morning, but He was with us through the dark night of our lives... So I am absolutely certain that in the end, \"righteousness will shine like the sun and bring healing (Malachi 3:20)\"<\/em><\/p>\n

Thank you for your faithful prayers for Farshid, who is in the middle of a dark night, yet waiting for dawn. Farshid has been in Evin Prison for almost 43 months - all because of his Christian faith and service. It's a great encouragement to him that his family around the world is praying for him.<\/p>\n
