A good place to start is schooling in a safe environment at Christian independent schools. The Danish European Mission works with four Christian schools in northwest Pakistan, the most insecure part of the country. 194 vulnerable children are currently receiving education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them are Kainat, Samson and Berisha in the picture above. Their father Kashif Mashif was killed by the Pakistani Taliban (Tehreek-e-Taliban Paksitan, ed.). The children's mother was in a difficult financial situation and today Kainat, Samson and Berisha receive free schooling in the project.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n If minority children go to public schools, they risk discrimination and isolation. And their parents are not always able to prepare them at home to answer critical and challenging questions at school if they can't even read, write or do math. It costs DKK 1,045 to ensure that a child can attend school for a year.
